Try Diving: Experience the wonders of the underwater world in our Try Diving programme. Almost anyone can enjoy diving, you will be surprised by just how easy it is. After a fun and informative theory lesson you will soon be gliding through our amazing underwater world. Dives are a maximum 20 minutes and to a maximum depth of 5 meters. The minimum age for diving is 8 years. Guests also have the option to purchase photos of their first dive and a second dive in the afternoon.
Qualified Divers: We welcome divers from all certification agencies. Guests should bring their certification cards with them. Kalithea offers great shallow diving with beautiful underwater caverns and unusual rock formations to explore. Suitable for divers of all levels. Dives are around 50 minutes and to a maximum depth of 14 meters. Guests have the option to purchase a second dive and dive packages for other dive sites.

Our dive site of Kallithea with its calm, clear water and a sheltered location makes it perfect for first time and qualified divers, divers in training and snorkelers.
Our diving excursion begins at 8.45 am aboard our dive boat which is moored in Mandraki harbour, Rhodes Town. Following registration you will be divided into dive/snorkel groups and on the scenic trip to kalithea listen to your dive or snorkel briefings. We spend the day in Kalithea bay and are back in the harbour around 1 pm. We have a large dive boat with sun decks, cabin, toilets and small bar where you can purchase sandwiches, drinks and snacks. In between dives or snorkel tours you can relax on the sundecks or swim in the warm water.
We dive in the south of the island every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Our diving program begins at 9 am. Following registration clients are divided into dive/snorkel groups and listen to dive or snorkel briefings. We have chosen for you the best spots for scuba diving in Rhodes island. The programs are completed around 1 pm.

We booked a boattrip to Simy Island and a trial diving in Kalithea excursion, We just loved it! Simy Island was so cute with his colourful houses and many little boats and the diving experience was so great. The organisers were verry kind and I do recommend this experience for starters! Great diving experience with Waterhoppers in Pefkos. They came to our hotel pool so we could all try out the scuba kit, then we booked for an afternoon dive. They provided transport to and from our hotel. The team are very professional and for every 6 divers there were 5 instructors in the sea with you keeping a close eye on everyone and helping out when needed. After the safety briefing, they took us out on two dives, one in a few metres of water so we could get our confidence, then after a short break, a second dive in deeper water. They take photos and videos of your dive which you can buy for around 20 Euros. The terrain varies from sandy to rocky and we saw quite a few fish. Kids from 11 years up can dive.
Super friendly british guys! they take care of everything, are keen you understand every word they say and look after you above and under the sea! the pictures are sweet and it definitely was a cool experience 🙂 clear recommendation, worth the money! The best scuba diving in Rhodes island!
