After we’ll pick you up from your accommodation in one of our luxury mini buses, we’ll drive through the city center, stopping at key sights like the Three Windmills, St Athanasius fortress or Evaggelism Church at Mandraki Harbor. Mandraki harbor is the historic port that has served Rhodes since ancient times. This is where the legendary Colossus of Rhodes once stood. Today, you’ll see the iconic sculptures of Rhodian Deer, a stag and a doe, standing on columns at the harbor entrance. The harbor, once a docking site for the Knights of Rhodes, now hosts modern yachts. Afterwards, we’ll drive up to Monte Smith, the ancient acropolis of Rhodes, offering panoramic views of the city and coastline. Here, you’ll find the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the ancient stadium, and the amphitheater. Visiting Monte Smith at sunset is magical, with the fading light casting a golden glow over the ruins and the Aegean Sea, making it a perfect spot for photography as it is considered as one of the best places to watch the sunset in Rhodes island. | Duration: 30 hours
