Rhodes Sea Kayaking is a great way to explore the hidden beauties of Rhodes’ coastline. We will take you safely along sheltered coves and beaches and rest on hidden bays along the way. Sea kayaking is open to all abilities, for experienced or not and the ideal activity for people looking for adventure and fun in the sea. Our Lindos Sea Kayaking Tour runs daily and starts at Vlicha Beach. We paddle along the coastline, past beautiful rock formations and hidden caves while admire Lindos from afar. Then we reach the voted as one of the most beautiful bays in Europe, St Paul’s Bay. Afterwards we paddle through an unusual sea canyon, which leads to stunning Navarone Bay. Here we can enjoy some time taking a break from paddling to snorkel in this beautiful secluded area. Also exploring below the surface of the water with its blues and greens and refreshingly cool water.
Later, we turn back towards Lindos. This picturesque village, with its traditionally white-washed houses is perfect for everyone. Sandy beaches, beauty, history, nightlife, restaurants, cafes and shops all make Lindos a must on any ’s list. Before all this, though, we have the chance to relax and explore the surroundings while enjoying a tasty homemade Greek meal at a restaurant by the beach. Afterwards, we explore Lindos village from inside!
The Pirates’ Route also runs daily and starts at Kathara Beach in Faliraki. After a short introduction brief, we start paddling along the East Coast of Rhodes. This route allows you to experience some sea caves from up close as well as three of the most popular beaches on Rhodes. Anthony Quinn Bay, Ladiko bay and Traounou beach. Along the route you have the chance to dive into these beautiful waters, direct from your kayak!
Before our delicious picnic lunch on one of east coast favourite beaches, you get the chance to snorkel and explore life below the surface of the water. If you are more adventurous streak can also try cliff jumping! After our lunch, we head back.
Our Sunrise Kayaking Experience runs every Saturday and starts from Kathara beach in Faliraki. Before the sunrise, we will set off on our journey towards the South, following the coastline. At this time of the day, everything is so peaceful as almost no human activity can disturb the serenity of the scenery. When approaching Antony Quinn’s Bay we will slow down and wait for the sunrise! At that time everything turns red and orange and we are finally awarded for the early wake-up call!
After enjoying the stunning views and taking some photos, we visit Ladiko beach. There we will enjoy the first swim of the day taking in the beautiful tranquility. On the way back, we will explore the imposed seal’s cave. The program concluded after we paddle back to Kathara beach. There we will find a delicious Greek breakfast waiting for us.
Everything was run really professionally. The team were great, friendly and good fun. I was travelling solo so went in the kayak with Maria (the owner of the company) who was great and did most of the hard work out of the 2 of us. They gave us lots of good guidance and let us see things you’d never see doing it yourself. The other guide George was taking lots of photos and getting everyone wet. We did a bit of swimming and snorkelling as well. The lunch was really simple but tasty. They all brought us a beer at the end which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend and advise to contact them directly rather than booking through Tripadvisor as they are really quick to respond and super helpful.
Great kayak trip along the beautiful Rhodes coastline, on the clear blue waters of the Mediterenian Sea. Very well organized, equipment is perfect, and the guides are very friendly and share a lot of knowledge about the places we pass through. I’d love to take the longer full-day trip with these guys next time to see more of Rhodes!
