The Trip

The boat trip to Symi island starts with bus transfer from your hotel to the tourist port. Boat departs at 09:00 the morning and arrives at 11:00. There is ample time for lunch and shopping before the return to Rhodes.. At 14:30 you will depart from Simi s port to the south side of Simi where is the historic monastery of Panormitis . Final boat departure to Rhodes is at 16:30. Return transfer by bus to your hotels.

The monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis is one of the most important pilgrimage centers in Greece. Even if you are not a religious believer, it’s worth visiting this unique monument. The monastery was constructed in 1783, while its impressive bell tower was built in a baroque style in the early 20th century. Inside the monastery, you can visit the museum and the miraculous image of the Archangel Michael.
